He need not to be motivated with monetary form neither that honourable title. I believe deep inside your heart, u do know he's an athlete with a soul and determination. I'd rest my case.Let Chong Wei go on.With or without Datuk,he's still a Lee Chong Wei for me. Oh yeah...Malaysia Boleh to you too.
Alamak, u-turn pulak! One minute you go: ... and now you are saying LCW need not be motivated with titles and cash. Which is which la?
Everyone is yearn to have u-turn. Mine would be let the bygones be bygones.I tried to justifiy the Datuk title because i've put my priority on Chong Wei. Is my criticism against his title will benefit my fav MS?No. So,my justification is - It might boost him up.He need not to be motivated that way.But nothing is wrong with giving. Anyway,he won that Silver Medal without title, if you are not aware.

PETALING JAYA: Shuttler Lee Chong Wei will have to keep his focus strong from the start as he is going to face a succession of ‘No.1 players’ when he starts his All-England campaign as the top seed for the first time in Birmingham next week. Coach Misbun Sidek is hoping Chong Wei will be able to reach his first All-England final but he also felt that the going will be tough going from the early rounds. Chong Wei, whose best efforts thus far in the prestigious tournament was a semi-final appearance last year, will open his campaign against Chinese youngster Lu Yi. Victory will give him another tricky encounter against top Thai Boonsak Ponsana. Chong Wei will not meet any of the top Chinese players until the final but he still has the likes of Indonesian number one Sony Dwi Kuncoro in his quarter of the draw. The semi-finals could see Chong Wei facing either top Dane Peter Gade-Christensen of Denmark or former Olympic champion Taufik Hidayat of Indonesia. The other half of the draw has second seed and Olympic champion Lin Dan of China, who has compatriot Bao Chunlai in his path in the second round.Except for Lu Yi, Chong Wei has lost to all of his possible rivals in their last meetings. He was beaten by Boonsak in the third round of the Asian Championships in Johor Baru last year while Sony won in the Japan Open final. Chong Wei conceded his first career defeat by Christensen in the Korean Open last month while Taufik stopped the Malaysian in the semi-finals of the French Open last year. “Every top player wants to win the All-England and this could be his biggest test as he is facing all the number one players,” said Misbun. “Chong Wei has to be on guard from the first round, especially when he is up against the top Chinese junior. Lu Yi is now ranked fourth behind Chunlai, Chen Jin and Lin Dan. “He may not be able to win the All-England for now but beating the top seed will make people remember him and this is where Chong Wei really has to be on guard. In fact, everyone will be gunning to beat Chong Wei and there will be no easy match for him.” However, Misbun said that the good thing going for Chong Wei was his commitment to training. “I am not saying this because I coach him but he is deserving of the number one spot in the world rankings,” he said. “The only way for Chong Wei to get ready to play and win tough matches from the start is the quality of training. It is how he absorbs the training I give him that will make him able to get the extra finishing, explosive power and stability in his game to beat the top players. “I have no complaint so far. He is a hardworking player. Just as an example, he changed his shirt a total of 14 times last Wednesday and that is his record as a national team player.” Source : http://thestar.com.my/sports/story.asp?file=/2009/2/23/sports/3324936&sec=sports
