To improve in badminton, you need to have: 1. video lessons to learn the proper technique: http://www.bwfbadminton.org/page.aspx?id=19996 http://www.coachingbadminton.com/clips http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...7&feature=plcp The above could take months (perhaps years) to learn properly. See also: http://kuai.xunlei.com/d/WNJBNDRYWENY You can watch the above videos on your own, with a friend or with a coach. 2. good coaches (to tell you what you are doing wrong, and what you should do instead). Both one-to-one coaching as well as one-to-many drills/practice are needed. Coaches may practice or spar with you or he may give u advice whilst you are playing for real (eg, in tournaments). 3. good players to practice/spar with. (Good players will also be good coaches. They will tell u what u are doing wrong and what u should do instead.) You need to play with players who are better than you. 4. good training on strength, endurance/stamina and fitness. 5. local tournaments to participate in. (These are like exams; without exams, you will never improve.) 6. a camera to video record your own play. you can post your video here at BC for us to discuss about it. 7. international tournaments to watch: http://www.youtube.com/bwf http://www.badmintoncentral.com/foru...-Video-Sharing http://badmintonlink.com/ 8. good books on badminton and sports generally. I only know the ones written in Chinese. http://115.com/file/dpzjsla9# 9. good books on sports and sports science generally. 10.fun.
