I just e-mailed Winston. I hope for a fast reply. I will post results if he sends something back. Maybe he will stock the new Ashaway strings soon too. :)

Sorry when you say e-mailing, do you mean e-mailing through their site or through my own e-mail? I did the latter.

Winston says that Ashaway ZM65 with come in by the end of August, and they still have a ZM67 WHITE in stock left. I just bought a reel so I don't want the 67, but feel free to order from him.

I just got 10 packs of Zymax 62 today from MBS. I'm not sure which tension should I use with it. I usually play with Yonex Nanogy 95/98 at 24lbs. Should I keep the same tension?

Why not. Give it a shot. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. But prepare for it to break faster too.

    I've taken Z62 to 29 before; 24 is nothing.

You'll get a huge power boost, I can tell you.

He's in Vietnam. The strings don't break as easily with higher humidity. I say keep at 24 lbs just for the sake of more direct comparison to old string.

So true. I'm in Aus now and I'm afraid of going for anything below 0.68mm since I still play 28x30

I have been playing with it for around 2 weeks, and the string broke. 8hrs/weekx2 = 16 hours. I didn't smash much, with a little bit of slice and drop. Normally the Nanogy 98 would last longer for me. In my club, the string only lasted 2 hour-session for the biggest smasher (again, Nanogy 98 would last 2 weeks for him). Even though it's not as durable as Nanogy 98, I must say the sound is amazing. I haven't generated that kind of sound with other string :). And the repulsion is high too. This string is highly recommended if you don't mind to restring you racket quite often.

I still have 3 more left so I guess I will continue using it then switch to ZM65.

    Any thoughts on Zymax 70?
Would it be better to use ZM 70 than ZM 67 if you use both plastic and feather shuttles or is ZM 67 a lot better and will it also last a long time with plastic shuttles when it isn't strung very high (+- 21 lbs)?

ZM67 10+hr no fraying 22x24, but I restrung that to 24x26 for use now. ZM67 is a champ. haven't gotten the chance to use ZM70 but it's laying around.

Thanks for the answers. Has anyone used zymax 70 or can anyone compare the zm 70 with the zm 67? Which one would play best at +- 21 lbs in a voltric 5?

I am currently using the factory string (bg 55) and hit quite hard. I have no trouble hitting from baseline to baseline.
