From my short experience with ZM65, I found white more crispy in hitting than red, but red was more durable than white.
I have found similar results with ZM67: white ZM is more repulsive and lively than red. I can't yet comment on the durability.
I've used 62 and some 65. And I find that: Yellow : crispy White: soft Red: durable all very similar but they tend towards the above compared to the other colours.
I hope that white is more durable than red. Red lasted around 2-3 months at ~9 hours per week, strung at 23x25 for me, but that was two years ago. Unfortunately, I haven't tried the yellow.
My recently strung racquet with ZM65 23x24 white snapped due to a miss hit, only 6 hrs of play. Either I was lucky or that Red is more forgiving (lasted me 6 months lol)
Both - the snapping was unlucky, but the red is duller and more durable. I'm nearly convinced it's an entirely different shell, i felt rougher and less direct than the white.
I strung my Zymax 65 red at 29lbs, my racket broke after 18 hours of play. Racket was fractured anyway, but the feeling is just amazing, though yes, it is somewhat dull and rough on the surface.
The ZM65 gets extremely dull after 1 month. Although the tension I got it strung at was pretty low (23 lbs) the feeling of dullness increased over the weeks. I've never wanted to cut strings so bad, but I'm trying to be economically smart here
Don't get me wrong, the string started like a dream. Then it just stopped feeling good, plays well still.
Does anyone know if/when mybadmintonstore.com will restock reels of Zymax 67 and 65? :crying::crying::crying:
