Anyhow, compared to other pros Gideon has weak technique, look how much he flails around and overswings the racket...somebody has to be below the average, and his movement and aggression make up for it. Didnt say he was a weak player, btw.
cai did not retire. he played with lu kai beat ahsan/hendra then, if you think you are better than them
Almost every Chinese doubles player that retires due to age plays a couple tournaments with a young player. Fu did the same, both before and after forming his partnership with Zhang Nan. And where did I say anything about being even comparable to Ahsan/Setiawan? I think Setiawan is one of the best MD players of all time, mate.

This statement is not valid at all to say Marcus/Kevin is better than Fu. By the same method, we can say that Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong is better than Minions as they never managed to beat LYD even once. But anyway, as you said, that is according to you and is your opinion

how are their last matches (minions vs bo/mo)? minions avenge their losses to bo/mo, liu/zhang, kam/son it's hard for them to beat minions again that's my opinion
just stop compare them to cai/fu, like I said they has yet to prove that they're better than ahsan/setiawan, let alone the legendary cai/fu. let them prove in the big events first before we even compare them to all these legends.
Please tell us who's pro are you comparing him to? and show us in video (link etc) the apple to apple comparison where the other pro and him do the same stroke.
gideon reminds me of sonoda, nothing special at all and as J4ckie said his technique is pretty weak compared to other pros. but luckily he can relied on his speed and movement for now, not sure for how long though.
Sorry. I only count their losses. They lost the important one and that's the World Championships. I remember the pairs who win the major championships. Rudy Gunawan, Ricky sugbajia, Rexy, Tony Gunawan, Candra, Sigit, Hendra, Kido, Ahsan..... Maybe the minions will get on that list - will have to wait and see.
