Yao Xue toppled Gu Juan. Now, Fu Mingtian, your turn to take up the mantle - you just won the SEA Games WS Gold Medal beating Firdasari after you've sensationally upset Ithanon Ratchanok (whom I regarded as one of the Princesses, you know) in the semi;I saw you shed tears of joy at the winner's rostrum while the SG national anthem was being played as the ungracious INA crowd was booing and jeering.

You make a good romantic in badminton with your queen and your princesses :D

Sato Sayaka didn't make much progress since the runner-up in WJC during 2007 I think. Fu Mingtian might be tired though.

Vittinghus wasn't spurred on by his Bitburger Open victory, last week he tripped and fell early, and tomorrow he's facing The Little Dragon(soon I'll be calling him just The Dragon),how to progress further? Sometimes, the luck of the draw do make or break an aspiring budding player.

No coach in HK either - perhaps no funding for the coach to come? Coach has other commitments?
