i think, it comes from her parents...
In Indonesia, usually, someone with Ratnasari name will be called Ratna.... or just "Na" to simplify... Sometimes, "Sari", but very rare....

As time gos, From "Na", it can become "Nana" because of her younger brother/sister, friends etc. But i am still quite sure, her parents call her "Ratna" or just "Na" at home.

Gotcha! Thanks for explaining it so well! :)
In many places around the world, Nana is a loving way for a child to address a grandmother... :D

This is what is termed as the Pelatnas syndrome. After doing well, then slump. They lost to the now pro players but veteran pairs.

On another note, Kompas today reported that most Pelatnas players travelled from Japan on Monday, transited twice at Taiwan and HK before reaching Jakarta. Then on Monday night, leaving to Kalimantan so some are having travel fatigue. The exception is Hayom and Natsir who forked out money from their own pockets to change the flight and left earlier from Japan.

As a result, all Pelatnas players who played in Japan except Hayom and Bona/Ahsan, lost.

I don't know about the non Pelatnas like Kidho/Hendra, Alvent/Hendra, Nova/Vita/Nadya. Maybe they took different flights since they all lost earlier in Japan.

What is the venue like? What is the capacity?
Is there a big crowd at the venue today? I suppose it will fill up towards the end of the day... :D

Yes, giving Nozomi the Great some virtual support, lol.

PHY has always been a tough nut to crack, but Yeni has definitely done Nozomi a big favour yesterday.

PHY has always impressed me terribly. But somehow, I always end up supporting her opponents.

Yes, saw the pics already. Thanks. So far 133 views. Not bad for one day.

Hahaha! Me being french, it is quite the opposite! Go Pi! I hope she now regained her form after her knee operation in January. In the tourneys this spring and this summer, she said she still felt short.

I don't know how is Pi in her 'real life', but in the media she is absolutely a delight! A very charming personality (not to mention her legs).

What happened to Liew Darren that caused him to retire in the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] game of the MS 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] round match against Misbun Ramdan M Misbun? If it’s an injury, it is hoped that it is not serious and long-lasting.
The other Malaysians through are Chan Kwong Beng and Chong Wei Feng.
Mohd Arif AL did well to stretch WZM to 3 games losing out 21-14, 12-21, 16-21.
The major upset has to be the loss of TA/LN ( Seeded 1) to their compatriots, NW/VM (Unseeded) 21-13, 15-21, 17-21.

Yes, she seems to have had a surge in form after her op. Even though I'm not French, I do actually support PHY for her sheer grit and determination. Except when she is playing against a select few. But she always seems to be playing against those few.
