Yes. Hayom moved on beating Tanongsak in rubber set. He avenged his defeat to Tanongsak in the Final of SEA Games 2013 last month.
 
Tian Houwei stuns third seed Tommy Sugiarto, 21-12 / 21-17, limsy must be happy for this result...

Thanks for the info. Hoped it's not too serious, she is one of the most exciting WS players to watch, for me. Will she play next week's MAS PSS ? Hope so.

Btw, curious to know when her knee injury was sustained? Before the match began, during and, if so, at which point ?

PB failed on her knee during training a few days ago. I also hope she will be ready for Malaysia SSP. What an exciting player to watch!! This may be her year to out-shine her compatriot Ratchanok.
 
Some upsets happened today as seeded shuttlers got first round exit => home pair Kim Ki Jung/Kim Sa Rang (2nd), Tommy Sugiarto (3rd), Duanganong/Kunchala (4th).
