I think you forgot this is the group stage where Chen Long is already qualified, so no incentive for him to win in straight sets.
That's the problem, no retirement even if you're injured unless you want to forfeit everything. So play on.

Hope Chen Long doesn't relax too much in G2, he's the tendency to do that after a convincing win in the first.
The problem is he has no incentive to do that, so you can only hope for the best, that he doesn't want to waste time and effort playing a three-setter.

For me, it's much better that Chen Long wins as many of his matches in two convincing straight sets as possible, as that would cement his psychological advantage over them for quite some time.
