I notice from the draw that the juniors from China were included but they are not in the qualification rounds. Does anyone know the reason they are not participating? I was so looking forward to it.
Who are you referring to? Many chinese players, like Si Wei Zheng and Kaixiang Huang, are already in the main draw all matches with chinese players
I'm disappointed that YOG Champion He Bingjiao who was in the reserve list didn't get a chance to compete.
Zhang Beiwen and Michelle Li are slated to meet in the semifinals, should be a much-awaited matchup for many of us. The other one for me, even more so, is the possible face-off between Sun Yu and Carolina Marin.
...yes indeed. Nice to see Olga Konon's name on the schedule again. Interesting field for WS - Kirsty, Beatriz, Lindaweni, Chloe (Magee, IRE) and Karin (Schnaase) will all fancy their chances. Might be worth keeping and eye on Ksenia Polikarpova (RUS), and Tee Jing Yee (MAS) will want to join the party too. And let's offer a welcome to Kate Foo Kune (Mauritius) and Eli Mambwe (Zambia). smautf

Some people can get themselves childishly riled by very trivial matters like the names of their favorites not being mentioned. To be frank I think one of them is quite good. I think Kate Foo Kune must be of Chinese Hakka descent.
What has happened to NJ not taking part in much tourneys.. She started the year well..she is also quite their in destination Dubai rankings... Well really interested in watching CM after the WC she hasn't participated in both SSP and SS... Ind hopes quite their in MS and XD ashwini/Vladimir... PC going to take on LM I don't see her winning as well Tanvi is also expected to pack up in early stages itself.. AP/VI are in top half along with the an Ind duo, Selena and partner and of course the Adcocks
Lol. I was just kidding with him.. you took seriously and started to make judgements!!!!. Childish...??? !! Man... I don't have any favourites at all in this tournament. Anybody can win this tournament. This proves how you tackle jokes even... who is childish here...?
