Canadian Television Coverage = None?

where to click..i cant see anything to click at..

 

cbc is a lying sob. Last athen, they scheduled some badminton match for broadcast but they pulled them out last minute.

 

Do the "Watch Live" buttons work for any of you? I'm trying to watch the opening ceremony and all I get is this short CBC commercial about the Olympics...

The first thing you will see after you click on Watch Live and after the page loads is an advert then the live event will start after several seconds of buffering (minutes if you have a slow connection).

 

Well, I'm trying to access the webcast for the Equestrian as a test for the badminton in 1 hr 20 mins. The bad news is that I get the short ad but then it's blank. Can someone out there test and see if you get the same thing please? (and I have a quick connection)

 

Originally scheduled for 6pm (PT), we now only get to watch at 11pm (PT)... if the darn webcast system works

 

i had the exact same thing happen to me, are you using firefox? That might be the problem, i switched over to IE and it worked fine

hmm works on FF too, just have to wait a while longer

 

what badminton, i didnt see any badminton in day 1 schedule

 

CBC pulled out the round of 64 MS and WS morning session.

 

starts at 2 AM saturday morning

what is goin on! i can't find channel 7 on cbcsports.ca, SOMEONE HELP!

 

it's working here but refresh rate similar to webcasting 2 yrs ago, a bit jerky although resolution is pretty good.

i will go with tvant and sopcast instead when badminton start

 

OOOO lmao, ok CBC is using WMP (windows media player) as the streamer. Macs dont have that =/ that's why you arent getting the picture. You could use bootcamp to dual boot with windows and watch it like that

 

So weird, I can get video now. Better count my blessings. Looking forward to the badminton at 11pm (PT)

 

Question... has anyone tried watching multiple CBC channels at once? Is it possible?

 

Lmao, i just tried it, opened 3 different sports.
And i cant wait, 2hrs and 30 mins of badminton, the quality is good for the other sports, i expect the same for badminton

 

i hope streaming is fast enough
