While I'm totally against Chen Jin throwing the match to Lin Dan, I wouldn't mind seeing the match of a lifetime between Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei if that turned out to be the case.

the crux of this supposed fixing to the doubters is how much effort does CJ need to exert before u draw the line between fixing and really trying? If CJ did lost, the doubters will alway see it as a fix match. It really come down to the eyes of the beholders.

Yes, match-fixing always comes down to the eyes of beholders -- Not because different people support/hate different players/countries, but because different people has different experience/understanding of this particular sport.

And no, it is not true that "the doubters will alway see it as a fix match". If CJ indeed plays seriously, I think many "doubters" will see his effort.

so what is 'seriously'? If CJ played so hard and fast and he sprained his ankle or re-injure his waist in the 2nd set and had to lose by default, is this serious enough or would the doubters boo him as he is been carried off the court?

I think CJ will try to win in the first set..if he can't do it..he will give the 2nd game to LD...(just an opinion)

To let LD get an easy win..is not a good sportmanship...but it is a strategy for the chinese team to have a fresh leg in the final...

No I would like to see LCW meet LD in OG final. That would be mouth watering. Most importantly I am 100% LCW will beat LD, just like it happen in TC.

What make you so sure that MAS team would ask their player give way to their compatriot? Are you one of the MAS coach? Are you one of the officials from Baminton Association of Malaysia?

Lets not jump to that first before seeing the match LCW v LHI...whoever is the winner is trully deserve to face LD/CJ....I think most of us (not only MAS supporter) is hoping to see the mother of all match LD v LCW came true....is there any pole on this?

CJ come to far just to let/give the macth to LD? The possibility is there...no one could denide that.

Fair enough for you to ask me not jump to conclusion too fast. I also LCW to take a match at time. LHI is a strong opponent.

I am pretty sure CJ do not come that far to walk over to LD. But may be he is forced to do that?:cool: There is a possibility isn't it?:)

Yes, if same team mate meet up, they should go all out for the first set, the first game being the decider game. Let's see if CJ will go all out for then we will know for ourself if the match is fixed.

This time I agree with you. This is a fact. At least you are talking base on fact now. As far as I can remember in modern day badminton MAS MS never have the luxury of letting anyone player give way to compatriot. ( I stand to be corrected).

But in MD MAS team did have this kind of luxury yet we did not do match fixing either.( I can not point out which match I can not remember.)

However, the point is match fixing simply not acceptable in international badminton arena. The only one country that feel very proud of it is China.(LYB openly says we should feel proud that we have the luxury to choose which player to play)

I am an ethnic chinese and I received mandarin education. I have nothing against China. I feel proud too when China is getting stronger nowadays( however I am a Malaysian at bove all). But all I have said about match fixings and other "unethtical" practices by the Chinese badminton team are facts.

Nope. I want to see who is the real World No 1 between LD and LCW playing under the fair condition especially during critical points. However, if CJ wins, I will be very proud of what LYB does.

So far, there is no sign of such practice in MAS team over the past few years in open tournament.
