Yup...they should have the upper-hand, although Fu Haifeng/Shen Ye have upsetted the second-seed as well as the eighth-seed in a space of 24 hrs. A first title in Europe will definitely give them confidence for the All-England in 2009, one of Kido/Hendra's main target for next year.

And Denmark ensures 2 titles as Joachim beat Wacha in straight sets, 21-16 21-15.
Great success for home team. Congrats!

Well, I am not too disappointed by today's result, given that I have 2 out of 3 right. Wong/Chin are more experienced than Nitya/Grace, so, I give them credits for winning today. Besides, the INA pair did give a good fight, esp in the first-set.

I am still predicting that Rani Mundiasti/Jo Novita will beat Wong Pei Tty/Chin Ee Hui tomorrow for their first SS title! As far as I know, Wong/Chin have those final-jitters as they have never won a GP title  So, let's see what will happen tomorrow. At least, Jo Novita has the experience (with Greysia Polii) on beating some of the top 10 pairs, including Wong/Chin themselves and also winning the Philippines Open 2 years ago ;).

Being experienced as they are, if WPT/CEH lost the Semi today, can jump longkang (drain). Not putting down the INA WD but being Msia's no 1 WD, they should have what it takes to take it (barring any injuries, esp CEH).

Too bad Nitya/Grace lost to MAS pair tonight. Nevertheless, they must have done their best.

Congratulation to Jo/Rani and Kido/Hendra for winning the games tonight. Hope they can grab the titles for INA!

Well, they lost to Cheng Shu/Zhao Yunlei, who in turn lost to Nitya Krishinda/Greysia Polii. So, it's reasonable to predict that Nitya/Grace can beat Wong/Chin ;) If I were to underestimate the MAS pair, I would have written "the INA pair would thrash the MAS pair easily", and not "the MAS pair has an edge....."

Zhou Mi still holds the lead. Wondering how she managed it that well. Yea, I hope Zhou Mi win this match, that'd be more interesting to watch tomorrow. Zhou Mi leads 12-8 now.

No lah, not saying you underestimate WPT/CEH, just the expectation of WPT/CEh is higher since they're experienced pair, esp against non China WD. They did manage to beat Lilyana/Marissa in Japan (finally). ;);)
