From the news report, Lin Dan is a modest person/player for admitting that he is not ready to compete in MO and hence his withdrawal from this tournament. It's his fans and supporters who cannot accept this fact, and giving excuses that MO is a small tournament and like what titles and medals each have won and comparing them. Everyone in badminton knows that Lin Dan has won the prestigious ones. No arguements on this. But we are talking about the 2010 MO.

It is his withdrawal in the last minute that badmintons fans all over is not happy about.

Please do not write as if you know all LD's fans and supporters. I am one of them. I don't like his conduct,
but I can accept and respect his decision. Also please do
not sound as if you are the representative of the other side.
If you like to continue arguing with Ajaib, please do it on an
    individual basis only.

LD's last-minute withdrawal was not because of a medical condition but because he did not prepare well enough. That is indeed a poor escuse from the best player in the world who has broken all records in badminton.
    What a shame!

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    My 2.5 sens..

Personally and to an extent, unfortunately for the watching & paying fans, this trend will continue on til 2012 when the OG rolls around. Just follow the tourneys he'll attend this yr and that'll give us a pretty good picture on his plan for next yr.
Next yr, i'll be surprised if LD shows up for the M'sia Open.

I don't know all of LD's fans and supporters but I know you and I don't know you.
I know you >> As one of those who is protective of your badminton idols and cannot accept the fact that their idols are criticised.
I don't know you>> Saying you don't like his conduct but protecting him.
And you must be clear of one thing, the issue here is about withdrawals and LD is one of them, whose fans pay to come and watch.

I don't know which side I am representing as claimed by you. I am confused. I am only stating the facts. Never protective of any players, esp when they are in the wrong.

Lastly, I don't argue with people on an individual basis. I only make friends with them. And I don't think you will want to be my friend. I can live with that.

That's what we have been talking about.

    Face-lift for Super Series

MORE prestige and more money. This will aptly describe the much talked about face-lift for the Super Series next year.
The Badminton World Federation’s (BWF) Super Series committee will meet on Saturday to finalise details on how to turn the Super Series, which is in the third season, more appealing to the audience.
On top of that, four Super Series host countries will be selected to stage the BWF Grand Slam Finals and Malaysia are looking good to be one of them.
The committee are also expected to look into the spate of withdrawals that threaten to dent the prestige of the BWF premier world circuit.
In the Malaysian Open, the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) were left in a fix when China’s three-time world champion Lin Dan pulled out. The withdrawal of top players after confirming their entries affect promotional work and sales of tickets.

Wait, you claimed that you are a LD fan but since you don't like his conduct, do you like him on pure gameplay only?

LD can decide what he wants to do. Does current BWF rule
prohibit hiw from early withdrawing? Like I said I don't like
his conduct, and you are entitled to your own opinion....

When did I talk about him withdrawing in that statement? I am just asking you whether you support him totally based on gameplay. Come to think of it, are you supporting him ONLY IN this issue? :p

Whether it is a gameplay or not, I'll keep my opinion to
    myself. So can you!
Yep, keep it that way. You are doing a big favor to this

The last post on ytyang's comments.

I've decided not to response to your comments since post #230 'cos I realized it is a waste of time. Can't you feel it? And this shall be the last. See title.
