Am not defending LD, but LD withdrawal is not the one and only case. Its normal. Athletes do withdraw or pull out of meets every now and then. And I am not talking only about badminton.

Look at our WR#1 MS champion, LCW for example, he pulled out from the SEA Games in Laos thus denying hundred of thousands and thousands and thousands of Laotians the opportunity to see the WR#1 MS champion in action live. I am sure hundred of thousands and thousand and thousands and more thousands of Laotians bought tickets, applied for leave, left their pet dogs, cats, snakes, chimpanzees, elephants, snakes, wild boars, apes in pet hotels, put their wives and husbands in daycare all in anticipation to watch the great WR#1 MS champion, LCW.
