George is right. Both sides were missing key 1st team players. Although Arsenal did play poorly and ManU were great, I would also say that, although I think our first 11 is better than anyone else's, ManU have the better overall squad.

For reasons of injury and rest we were missing Clichy, Flamini, Rosicky, Adebayor and Van Persie, all of whom I think would be an automatic 1st team choice usually (with the exception of Van Persie who has been injured a long time and might not get straight back in given Eduardo's scoring run). Their replacements just didn't play as well as the ManU replacements
To beat an unbeaten team in their 23 domestic league game after were left having to rebuild the fragile morale and facing fans expectations i'll say..thats..yeah..good. Perhaps Liverpool will win when we didnt expect them to. Suprising element is their thing.
