This game is similar or even same with Flappy Bird. If you ever played this one, I bet you will get pissed for so many times.
Now that ZN will be playing with new partner, I just hope minions won't get ZN as the first round opponent in IO. At least not yet.
What for? I'd rather calculate the probability of ZN jumping up to top 10 or CHN MD2 within a year with his new partner
If you need to win 1 tournament to be a legend, you probably is no legend. so Olympics, to say Minions need to win... well...
Minions want the Olympics Gold medals, so they need to win. No one will hand medals freely to anyone.
and if not, they are already legends in their own right. They are the poster of consistency in Men's Double where you have to combine the spirit of 2 players all the time. In a way, that symphony is harder.
For you, maybe. Others will judge differently, and without any major medals their 2 years of dominance may eventually be forgotten, especially if the tournament circuit gets changed again....also, if we were to use the term legends as freely as that, we'd have loads and loads of legends and it'd lose all meaning.
You can of course interpret my post that way, but I wasn't talking only about myself - prominent figures in the scene (commentators, maybe journalists) are the ones narrating this kind of thing to fans, especially new ones who haven't watched for years and formed their own opinions, so they'll shape how the minions are perceived once they've retired...good luck telling ppl like Morten Frost that he's wrong and your opinion is more important
You know we can always ask Morten himself in the forum, he just joined BC recently. Intrigued by anything the users here post about his commentary Another month for IO then JO One is fast and one is slow. Anyway, I am going to be very bold, minions will win one of them or hopefully both lol. Their form should be better in IO because the condition will suit Marcus, they had performed well both in IM and MM earlier this year. Since olympics qualification started, they have only played in SC and their form was quite promising despite it was a slower condition. I have always worried about their performance right after a break, but I will try to have faith in them
I think they're pretty heavy favorites too win the IO. If it's an easy win, I think they have a good chance at the JO as well, if they really have to work for it in a couple matches, I wouldn't necessarily put them as favorites the next week, Marcus tends to have some trouble after a hard week, especially in slow conditions, as you pointed out already. An outside chance that they go out early in the IO because of errors (Kevin has his issues with drafty venues), but they tend to be very resilient in front of their home crowd, so it's a very slim chance indeed
