Just back from business, I can't believe tht my predictions went wrong. What's more shocking is KM was utterly destroyed. Too much upset in this tournament. Well, I guess the world can be turned upside down. Let's go, TakaMatsu, take the title.
Well done by SYQ. Disappointed that it was so one sided.. But here you see what psychology does. I would bet KM wins next time! SYQ had no real pressure as Momota destroyed his 3 opponents before and dominated this year and the home advantage. Shi played freely. Opposite to yesterday where he was a big favourite and almost couldn't handle it! And that Shi has an awesome attacking game is nothing new, he just doesn't have this charisma like Lin Dan or Chen Long. But maybe he can develop it and perform consistently under pressure.
Last month, some members here blame TakaMatsu for retired early in India last month to qualify. Now, they are the champions. They prove themselves right. Now, let's go, Endo/Watanabe.
Somehow I feel that the so-called homeground advantage is overstated. How many titles did the Koreans win at the KOR Open, the Japanese at the JPN Open, and the Chinese at the two China Opens, the Danish at the Denmark Open, the Indians at the IND Open, etc ?
^-^ We have 5 matches, the Japan took part 4 matchs, if they win 3, this is winning "Sudirman cup". When I say Japan wins Sudirman, it means I guess they will have at least 3 wins.
