Good move by Saina. Saina Nehwal needs to improve her fitness levels apart from training. I don't see any of the other players sacrificing PBL The money will be difficult to overlook.

Our realistic medal hopes are WS PV Sindhu and MD Satwik Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty. The rest of the players will just be looking at qualifying.
In MS it remains to be seen, if we get more than one player.

Its been more than 2 months since coach Kim left and still they couldn't find a proper coach to replace her. Any nation serious for olympic medals would have acted fast. Procrastination that is so typical of most systems/organisations of this nation is plaguing the cause.

Are moppers too expensive to afford ? very annoying to watch people mop court using towels after every point.

Sameer Verma losing to Ajay Jairam is an indicator of how worse of a bad form is he in, I can't see a way back for him.

HSP did well to win against LSF who I think is a CL in making.

Tomorrow I predict Kashyap to win over Srikanth, Kunlavat trashing BSP left and right.

You've started to talk like us now lol. I'm predicting 60-40 or 65-35 in favour of Sai though. But you never know our players surprise us

    For worse

Yes because tomorrow I can be happy either way.
I'll be happy if KS, BSP win.
If they lose I'll be pseudo happy that my prediction was right.

Magnificent sugercoating. Reaching top 100 of junior rankings. Does this deserve praise from National Association in social media ?

That described the level of thinking of a National Association that couldn't afford moppers in its tournament.

This young boy Kunlavut is trashing BSP left, right, top and bottom. This guy carries Tai tzu like aura, I love his style as much as I do Antony Ginting's and Tai Tzu Ying's.

Sai is bulldozed by Kunlavut. Sai is gone case now. It is very interesting now, the situation is keep on changing. First i thought, Srikanth and Prannoy will qualify for Olympics, Later the situation was like that i changed it to Srikanth and Sameer, Later, the situation was like i had to choose Sri and Sai, then i elimitated Srikanth and was looking for second prospect. Now, it is very difficult to say who will qualify for Olympics. Sai, a big no for me. If he lose to a junior player like this, what can we expect from him.
First he need to improve his stamina and fitness. That's not gonna happen.

Oops.. I forgot that he got married just now. He might be still in Honeymoon mood. ha ha. Let him enjoy. I give him benefit of doubt in this tournament.

Sai Praneeth should have just gone on a honeymoon instead of embarrassing himself like this! I will also give him the benefit of doubt as he is the only MS player among the current probables to win a WC bronze. That shows Praneeth has big match temperament.

Among the other Indian MS players who has big match temperament?
    Srikanth Kidamb
i is yet to show he has it. Even during his prime years 2016 and 2017 Srikanth was unable to get a medal. He remains a major underachiever.
HS Prannoy struggles to goes past the semifinal stage in tournaments. Prannoy has a shade of big match temperament as he was a youth Olympic silver medallist.
Sameer Verma hasn't shown he has it yet. He is in poor form at the moment.
Lakshya Sen has big match temperament. WJC bronze medal, AJC champion, Youth Olympic Silver medal. Age goes against him as he has to improve fitness, stamina to match senior players. He is in the same boat PV Sindhu was in 2012, starting his senior circuit too late.

If we do get a 2nd player qualifying, it should be either HS Prannoy or Lakshya Sen.
