it would be awesome if someone was #1 for more than 3 years, but LD didn't due to a few slips and missed tournaments...i don't remember when it was, but he dropped to #2 and #3 a few times during his 3 year reign...i think it was chen jin that over took him for a few weeks until LD took it back...but he was still top tops in the world which is an amazing acheivement nonetheless XD
