WS is sure for Awadhe whereas it is a 60-40 for HSP against Tanongsak... The match depends on XD CP/Bodin vs Juhl/Ivanov and MS2 BSP vs RMV gurusaidutt...
Boddin and Vladimir will play 2 matches back to back let's see of the inform Thai outclass Russian Bear

Issara got mega excited after winning really close 3 ender in the first tie. He stripped off his top ran about and threw it in crowd, then went to take off his shorts to do the same. Lol

Saina losses she seemed totally out of it, when Christina and issara won the tight xd match they interviewed Saina and she said she thought the opposite side won even with issara mad celebrations. Was very weird.

    Anyway well done Mumbai.

Would you believe that.. SN's injury hasn't recovered infact her movement is hindered even more.. Not a good sign
I am afraid had it been a PV vs SN match Saina would've been thrashed.
Get well soon warrior we want you back fully fit

This also means 2 not so appealing teams will cross their swords in the finale...
No Awadhe no Chennai that's not the way this tourney should conclude :(

2 things I learn in this PBL:

    1. The PBL has FREAKIN' SERVICE LINE challenges that even SUPERSERIES/WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS do NOT have!!! I'm lost for words.

    2. And that -
    1 Lac = 100,000 INR;
    1 Lakh = 1,000,000 INR; and
    1 Crore = 10,000,000 INR.

An interesting thing to note: Both teams in the finals are the ones with no player that has been bid for any extraordinary sum.

    Saina Nehwal (100k) Awadhe
    Lee Chong Wei (100k) Hyderabad
    Sindhu (96k) Chennai
    Srikanth (80 something k) Bengaluru

The top 4 players bid by amount, none of their teams made into the finals.

Also, the level of Doubles in this league is actually quite good, because of the presence of top European Players, and some retired Asian players. We have Mathias Boe, Carsten Morgensen, Kamilla Juhl, Christina Pedersen, Vladimir Ivanov, Cai Yun, Hendra Gunawan, Koo and Tan, Markis Kido, All of these are truly world class players. Bodin Issara was a surprise, but he showed lack of experience in his last tie, when on many occasions he just froze.

In comparison, there is minimal representation in WS. I don't think there are any players in top 30 apart from Saina and Sindhu. After the two Indian aces, come Suo Di, and Han Li, both quite capable, but not active in the International Scene.

MS was a mixed bag. According to rankings, we had, Lee Chong Wei, Srikanth, Tommy Sugiarto, Rajiv Ouseph, apart from of course all the Indian Players.

As for the best investments and worst, my list is:

    Worst:
Lee Chong Wei (too expensive, didn't win any net points, lost 2 won 2)
Srikanth (again the same reason, too expensive)

    Best:
Vladimir Ivanov (He is just amazing. He has been doing double duty all through the competition, and doing it well, also not too expensive)
Suo Di (Ultra Cheap, and frankly has been among the only Bengaluru player to win consistently. Lost, as expected, only against Saina and Sindhu, both of whom were bought for more than 6 times the price)
Gurusaidutt (Has been great, not too expensive)

I will add to my list later on, but for now I have these.

i am more worried about her chances in rio. .she was injured before pbl even started,i couldn't understand her decision to participate in pbl. .money can't be the reason, she wasn't even playing badminton, she was walking on the court. .and she was playing with pain, what's interesting to note is saina's will. .han li couldn't close it out in two straight games despite saina playing 60-70% of what she can play, saina still manage to win the second game but in the third han li played a clever game and moved saina around and played safely and that was it. .hope she recovers on time for the important tourneys. .

That's a bit unfair. Both teams in the final overcame close battles that could of gone either way in the semi and fully earned their place. Team events can sometimes throw out odd results due to the added pressure or on the flip side support.

lac and lakh are the same thing actually.
    10 lakh=1 million.

she was definitely not 100%, based on how badly she was moving.

both saina and sindhu had teary eyes in the end.
sindhu, however, was undefeated, like ajay jayaram.

    Gonna watch Finals live there....

Delhi will be crowned champion no doubt about it.

Agree with Devendra,LCW flopped big time but that's not the first time.....In the end,Delhi will win and that's what matters to Delhiites.....

And Tommy defeated both LCW and Emperor in Siri Fort Sports Complex and should Delhi win(which they will),he would be a massive crowd favourite during India Open SS which again I will see Live there...Hehe

I agree with your points but what I meant was just look at the Chennai squad they dance together, cheat each other for every single point, their owner (a big star in his field) was so down to earth, Chris-Pia's pairing PVS(undefeated) enthusiasm and Simon Sontoso and Sony's never quit attitude the entire team was so much appealing..
Look at Awadhe Warriors lineup Christina, Saina, Cai Yun, Boddin isara and B Sai parineeth shocked everybody with their game..
Of course India is proving to be second home for Tommy Sugiarto he isn't only winning every match but has drastic improvement in his aggressive play.. We don't see the same old TS running and rallying but apart from that both the Finalist team don't have much to bet
