Hey, what about Mary? I haven't read much about boxing lately! Her chances of qualifying for Rio?

So close yet so far for saina yet again. .watched the match live in the stadium, must say saina looked the best she has in the recent past, movement looks better, her cross courts and reverse slices are faster and steeper than they were used to be but where has her judgement gone I wonder..and those body smashes, I mean why. .they work against Wang yihan but against li xuerui it's like digging a hole for yourself because li's defence is just too good for a body smash. .all in all positive outcome for saina, I saw that hunger in her to win after such a long time. .boasts good for her chances for the future.

I asked GC about saina's performance today. .she said saina was unlucky to lose today, and she thinks saina has improved in her shot selections and is looking better, I also told GC about BC lol :p

Yeah, all though she'll drop to no8 in the recent rankings, her performance yesterday has ignited some lamps of hope! Now she has the chances to challenge NO in MAS PSS

As it has happened so many times in your career, it didn't matter how many entries India has, you are the only one left standing, I am rooting for you despite TTY is one of my favorite.

It seems saina has withdrawn from Singapore super series, just when I thought she had a great chance of capturing the title there. .sindhu is our only hope now.

SN was terrific today but as an insider if you watch it minutely she made ample of silly errors around the net! Just imagine her making those errors tomorrow and an ear piercing shreak following it! A complete morale decreaser :(

Mission completed by beating RI. Tomorrow's match won't be as significant.

i hope she is not physically exhausted after today's tough encounter. .tomorrow's match is as significant for saina as was today's. .she has lost to wang yihan in their last two encounters in straight games. .she must be hungry for a win. .hope she ends up winning the title here.

Congrats to Saina for winning Australia SS.
Beating RI and WYH and SY isimpressive.
I had sort of given up on India's medal hopes in badminton at Rio after the recent performances
But may be there is still hope.
Even Srikanth managed to reach semis.

Actually, she also beat Goh Jin Wei who is the current junior world champ.
So, she beat 2 previous senior world champs(RI, WYH) and 1 junior world champ(GJW) and 1 junior asia champ(SY).
    Not bad.

I would also like to know who is that coach.
