Hi Syryno, Thanks for your kind reply. It reassures me again that my racket is genuine. You got an extremely good price on the racket at $175 (I paid $227 w/string plus shipping). It is interesting that you mentioned to them about your pictures and that they took a look at it. Never thought about that myself. I will verify mine next time just like u did. And thanks for the info on where you bought it from.
Hi Syryno, BTW. What is this eBay seller's physical location/payment address that the shipment is from? Can't find that on his page. Thanks
Hi twomk, as far as I can tell a genuine nanospeed 8000 at USD$145 + shipping is not particularily cheap on ebay(a colleague claimed he got a genuine one for USD$110 + shipping). the price you quoted sounds quite reasonable for a store. In Montreal where I live a nanospeed 8000 will sell for CAD$240 to CAD$260 + 15% tax(US$240-260 in total) which is comparable to your deal. so ebay pitfalls aside their deals seam like a sweet choice for some sports equipments tohani210's return address on the box is in L.A. CA. all the best.
If you have been following the thread, apart from the actual numbers, you would have realised that the cone code must be consistent with the shaft code. That is basically how lehsim checks. Since you do not want to tell us what the date code because you don't want to remove a little sticker, why bother posting in this thread at all?
you should please read my previous post nicely. i asked professionals in the forum which can identity original rackets alternatively then just looking at the serials. thats the main reason i posted some pictures up. the last resort is to remove the stickers. if you cant identify it for me . please dont let fart come out from your mouth. for you to post will just make the post i have been waiting for longer. and if there is any complain from you against me to check a my "cheap" racket , then please hope there is a complain section. thats all i have to say , k thx bye oh yea .. and 1 more thing . even i have the serials , are you authorised to check the serials for authentication ? if yes , then i am sorry , else ... shush~
Can someone do a racquet check on this muscle power 100's serial number, thank you very much. shaft : 5821426 cone : 151156TH
Pls help me check: Model: AT800DF Shaft code: 5698904 Cone code: 240854TH I bought it in Thailand for $4150 baht (US$110). Why Yonex racquets are much cheaper in Thailand. Are they made in Japan??? Thanks a lot.
Hi, I'm sorry I cannot confirm anything but you can do it yourself if you check with Yonex international (check previous posts on this page and the previous one.) I'm a newbee to this whole racquet buying experience but from what I have understood from the posts here and from a letter from Yonex interational, I think the TH is a dealership thing and doesn't imply manufacture location (unless it actually says "made in ..."on the racquet). USD$110 is not necessarily cheap for a top-of-the-line genuine Yonex racquet. of coarse if you buy it in a "certified Yonex dealer" store in the west it may cost you twice as much but that's just a marketing/pricing strategy in my opinion and doesn't reflect on the original cost of the racquet from the factory. To see this in context, the sport is much more popular in Thailand than in Canada or the US.. And the Thi market is probably flooded with all kinds of racquets brands and types so that means the sales volumes are huge.. the profit margin is high and the overhead cost is low.. and the buyers are more objective about their racquet quality and won't pay more for the mere Yonex name, hence the cheap price. perhaps Hockey equipments are cheaper in Canada than in Thailand.. it would be quite interesting to check this fact. please let us know if it is genuine

Ns8000sp Hi Bluejeff I have recently sold a NS8KSP to a customer in the UK. He is a little concerned about the authenticity of the racket, so instead of him posting the serial number here to check against its authenticity, I am doing it on behalf of him so as to show my responsibility as a seller and a store owner. The racket was sourced from an authorized dealer of Yonex in Hong Kong. The serial numbers are: Shaft - 5429820 / Cone - 100352SP. The serial numbers are engraved. The racket has a Sunrise hologramic sticker on the cone and the number on the sticker reads C0330444. I am pretty confident that the racker is genuine, but please just check for me to make sure that it is genuine. IF it is NOT genuine, I will return the money to my customer and have the racket returned to my supplier and have the case reported to Yonex. Thank you so much for your help!! Winston
