I have a feeling KOR might just send a team that will beat MAS 3-2...but not more than that.

MAS can spoil KOR's day by fielding all reserves, except one LCW. LCW will get the one pt needed for MAS, and MAS will get their wishes of not wanting KOR to end up 3rd, instead, feed them to INA for an early titanic battle in QF because its obvious that they will want to avoid INA in QF and prefer to play DEN.

Not exactly. They can even win the matches to secure their 3rd ranking.

    Yes:
    MAS(5)-KOR(0) Then 1.MAS(10-0) 2.ENG(4-6) 3.KOR(1-9)
    MAS(4)-KOR(1) Then 1.MAS(9-1) 2.ENG(4-6) 3.KOR(2-8)
    MAS(3)-KOR(2) Then 1.MAS(8-2) 2.ENG(4-6) 3.KOR(3-7)
    KOR(3)-MAS(2) Then 1.MAS(7-3) 2.ENG(4-6) 3.KOR(4-6)
    KOR(4)-MAS(1) Then 1.MAS(6-4) 2.KOR(5-5) 3.ENG(4-6)
    KOR(5)-MAS(0) Then 1.KOR(6-4) 2.MAS(5-5) 3.ENG(4-6)

MAS can still lost to KOR with 1-4 and top the group and send KOR to INA in quarter final.

Someone better send that message to Yap Kim Hock as its obvious that KOR dislikes playing CHN in SF or INA in QF.

    We shall see....

It now depends on whether the KOR manager also anticipates MAS's reaction. If he anticipates, then, he will tell his team to go all out...to lose again.

If he does not anticipate MAS's reaction, he will tell his team to play for a 3-2 win....

    I can imagine..

..that will be one heck of a tie, if not the tie of the tourney, in this whole Thomas & Uber Cups tourney.:p Imagine BOTH squads fielding their reserves or feature funky looking lineups.>>>......but i do hope one of the teams or both will present a competitive lineup..

    I know the answer

Because we play with prides. Not like the Korean, avoid this avoid that. Better avoid coming TC la...Hope their tactics eat the master.:D Btw, this tournaments is very very weird, thumbs down for how they arrange the format. One team can even lost all their matches and still be able to fight for the QF. Sigh...what is this man??!!!

YES, is better you DO NOT CHOOSE, who know KOR will lost to DEN/JPN in quarter final, don't under estimate DEN/JPN, see what THAI did to INA.

Tonight, MAS can still lost to KOR with 1-4 and top the group and send KOR to INA in quarter final:

    MAS(5)-KOR(0) Then 1.MAS(10-0) 2.ENG(4-6) 3.KOR(1-9)
    MAS(4)-KOR(1) Then 1.MAS(9-1) 2.ENG(4-6) 3.KOR(2-8)
    MAS(3)-KOR(2) Then 1.MAS(8-2) 2.ENG(4-6) 3.KOR(3-7)
    KOR(3)-MAS(2) Then 1.MAS(7-3) 2.ENG(4-6) 3.KOR(4-6)
    KOR(4)-MAS(1) Then 1.MAS(6-4) 2.KOR(5-5) 3.ENG(4-6)
    KOR(5)-MAS(0) Then 1.KOR(6-4) 2.MAS(5-5) 3.ENG(4-6)

no matter what score tonight, MAS cannot get the 3rd in group, so MAS need to keep the top position, and is very easy for MAS to keep the top, MAS can actually put up any lineup as well as they make sure they can win 1 game from KOR.

For KOR, its status still very much depend on how MAS want to play, if MAS try to play lost with 1-4, they still have to face INA in quarter final.

Strategy plays more important role in Team event, we may not agree the way Korea handles the situation but if it works then credit to their master plan else lose face and lose respect.
Anyway, Malaysia should go all the way out and ready to face China in the semi final, we are usually better playing underdog part.
