As Wong8Egg mentioned, PSH has better H2H against LD including 2 wins in MO & CO last year. Plus, LD was beaten by LCW convincingly in the SF and PSH will very likely beat LD in again with the support from the crowd... From the positive side, LD desperately want to redeem himself after the loss to LCW. It would be a disaster for LD & CHN if LD were to lose again to PSH. It is normal for fans to protect their countrymen. But this is just the predictions. I still remembered that some CHN fans predicted that CHN would thrash MAS in 3-0 but everyone knows how the results turned out...
excited for a good game ahead in just a hour ahead... hopefully Korea will give a good fight to China to make the game more interesting...
Korea has slight advantage! The key matches are LD vs PSH and Bao vs LHI. Both matches are 50:50. Chinese MD don't have high chance. LD skill is ok but if he exibits that kind of lousy fighting spirit like in semi he will be in trouble. PSH is a tough nut to crack. He is tons of fighting spirit and mental strenght. so is LHI.
It was quite entertaining to watch the Korean play.. Variety of shots, great defense & placement of shuttles.. Almost everything to thrill the crowds.. Even they beat the host during semifinals, Many INA fans at the stadium stand up to applause and cheer for the Korean team while they walk out from Istora Senayan,
my bet is on korea to take the thomas cup 2008, to prove that Giants can be conquered!! EX. David vs Goliath. Is all about mind set strategy. All up to you KOrea! Believe U can do It!
I don't really I like China (nor Korea ) but i think they'll take it 3-0. LD had a day off against LCW. I am afraid PSH will be crushed. Plus, i'm not sure but i don't remember that Bao has lost a match in team event as second MS. I really think that MD1 is 60-40 for China. On contrary, MD2 is a sure win for Korea. For me the only configuration for Korea to have a chance will be LHI in MS1 and PSH in MS2. Then score maybe 3-1 for Korea. Anyway, i don't care who wins, don't really like both team (except LHI and HJM & LJJ)
