Cappy75 - thanks for the warm welcome.:)

Saturday evenings is a possibility. My next visit is the following weekend to watch some of the U14/U16 National Championships (May 10-14) in Richmond. Hope, I can get some free time to get in some games and finally meet up with you guys. So, I just show up at the door at 8:30pm for sign-in by a VRC member?

    Hey Dakguru,

You're welcome. Not sure if it's a good idea to just show up. Please PM us when your schedule is firm cuz someone has to let you in the door. There's a buzzer outside but it's barely audible from the courts. Also you can't play in the rare occasion when no obliging member is available to sign you in:(. Thanks.

Looks like Wood_22_Chuck and Mrs can't make it to Malaysian dinner tonight. Anyway, the place is in Continental Plaza Strip Mall in Richmond. Anyone who wish to attend must be there at 7:30 PM.

Cappy75, Pete LSD, Badrad - well, it looks like I won't be able to meet you guys and hit a few this weekend at VRC. The colds ones are on ice for next opportunity.

I injured my elbow/wrist this week by overplaying. :( :( However, will be coming over to watch some of the U14/U16 Juvenile National Championships matches this weekend in Richmond. Perhaps, see you guys there to support our future stars?:)

    Hey Dakguru,

No problem. Take care of yourself and we'll get some games in with you when you're good and ready:). As for the National Championship, I won't be able to check it out... work gets in the way:(.

Sorry, for the late response, I was in Vancouver on the weekend and just reading this message now. The U14/U16 Canadian National Championships were held May 10-14 at the Cambie Community Centre/High School on Jacombs Road in Richmond, BC. Admission was FREE. I hope you were able to get some info earlier and caught some of the action.:)

    Welcome NotGood! :D

I'm Dave, and I'm a VRC-a-holic, ha-ha ... There's a BadmintonForum group that plays Mon, Wed, Sat nights that start around 9 or 9:30pm and the always-friendly speed78 that organizes games, introduce newbies to other VRC members. So come on up and say hello.

You'll recognize me when my doubles partners get frustrated with my cross-court shots and start yelling at me! :D

    Hey NotGood,

Welcome to VRC and also BF:)! How do we identify you? I think there's alot of Davids at VRC:D. Anyway, don't be shy to approach us. We usually gather near Court 4 and 5 where there's a corner along the benches. Also, most of us don't come in until after 9pm. So don't be surprise if you get puzzled stares from people when you tell them that you're NotGood:p. See you tomorrow night:).
