I think most of us are voting basing on the players' recent performance... but as they say in the stock market, past performance is not indicative of future performance. :p :D Or is it? :)

I am not "insider". I don't know any players so I won't know if they are not fit. So most of us are basing on recent performance like Sho Sasaki is on the rise and some other players are declining.

And most people have short term memory so they will base it on recent performance

well..choosing which team as favorites to vote basically reflects the way or style you like to play in badminton...cai yun and fu haifeng remains the top favorite, since they style of playing involves mainly in smashing, attacking..and as a viewer and player, smashing in double playing definitely a point to add..

But then i do vote for jun jae sung and lee yong dae, since i like the way they play..defensive and their style in playing drive..though they are have been less perform in this year, but then they will make a comeback in the upcoming Olympic Championship..;)

Yeah, as I wrote in the above post, based on recent form, I think FHF/CY should win because JJS clearly was not at his best in Singapore and Jakarta. But I think JJS may be on the way back to his form so I voted them. Of course I am just guessing, I don't know them so it is possible that they may not be back to their form yet.

    Be general...

Guess what...badminton had their own KPI (Key performance indicator)..that is why most of the time you never see a player to play two open continuously... so do men double.. although some time such KPI is non that accurate..but then they do follow the KPI accordingly..if player fit enough, then they can play two times in a go..

and the most amazing part in KPI is that sometime the players already know they will lost but still joining for the open!!!! that is why we never see men double keep remaining top constantly.. SO....dun get fool by their bad performance..:)
