    awesome performance!

you are right! congratulations to both LD and to Sony Kuncoro for an awesome finals match! hands down to Kuncoro for a very difficult road to the finals; beating Lee Chong Wei, Peter Gade and Chen Yu! simply another incredible performance courtesy of Indonesia! :)

Yang Yang won 2 world championships within 3 years(when he was # 1) and in a time when there were many great players. there was Zhao, Morten, Icuk, and many more excellent players...

Lindan won 2 world championships in 2 years(when he was #1) and in a time
when there were not many great players.

I think there is a difference.

yeah, they don't look like they want to win it alot. Anyway don't you think Yang Wei looks scarily thin now? Her face is sunken and sallow.

Yang Wei always managed to pull the most outrageous shots.

totally agree - if the WC were held every year in Yang Yang's time he would have won much more...

Yeah Lindan won it twice in 2 years but in a time where anyone can beat anyone. Even the lowly players can create upsets to high favorites but Lindan didn't let it happen to him! He is a great player in his own ways....Yang Yang is also a great player himself!!

Lindan is more consistent than Yang Yang i guess and in a time where players are more competitive. He is still young and can win many more great title in the future. He has more collection of championships compared to Yang Yang relative to his age. He is bound for GREATNESS!!! Lindan!!!

game won by YW/ZJW. after a slow start, YW/ZJW maintained a very fast pace throughout the first game. their shots a clean, sharp, and efficient and the errors are few. GL/HS also played well but failed to capitalize on crucial points during rallies. add to that some minor mistakes they conceded the first game to their teammates.
