Had a D10 dry swing earlier Orange box felt slower while green aero speedier and smoother Sth similar to NR900 but not as aerodynamic compare to BS12 Man, this is too tempting
It's different from the NR900. Very. Feels stiffer but better head weight carriage by a lot. I just got it back qnd got a good look and feel of the frame. It's basically an arcsaber on the orange end and a nanoray on the other but the swing feels so much smoother than both somehow. So some little data points for my Duora 10. Measured everything with yellow BG80 @ 28/30lbs and original grip(plastic off) Weight came in at 91.98g. Head weight was 41.32g. BP was 302mm which is really nice since it doesn't feel anything close to that at all...
Visited the new Yonex Showroom in Akihabara, Japan last week and here's a pic of 'DEMO' Yonex Duora 10 racket.
http://badmintononlineshop.weebly.com/ Chris should be able to ship worldwide but you have to pay for the shipping cost.
The specs are right up my alley and the racket looks gorgeous. I'd even consider buying one from MBS if I weren't a chronic "racket spinner".
Tbh I really don't see the big hoo ha about racket spinning and this racket. It's fine if you do it between rallies. You probably might have a problem if you did it during. Plus yonex didn't brain fart in the design and made it very very clear which side was which in a glance. If you look down and see orange that means the backhand is the sharp side. If you see green then your backhand is the box side.
Wow, I've literally skim read the thread but what I gathered is that the two sides are different. One is blockier and the other is more aerodynamic, but what is the overall racket balance? (e.g. Hh, even, Hl) God knows what Yonex will come up with next, maybe a three sided racket, a combo of arcsaber, voltric and nanoray maybe!
