I think they did OK already,if you think about it most of the top players also lost in the early rounds, but they made the semifinals,it's a good achievement.

enter final is better, even may lose to the minion in final around also ok already…

Morten mentioned that Misaki and her partner got the point back when she retired playing in Japan open against another Japanese pair due to what he called as an obvious sign of injury
Do you have any information how exception could occur back then?
Doubt it. Wasn’t it Yonemoto who had a career-ending injury and yet nothing? It’s not happening. No points.

within the halls of bwf it is known as 'the china rule'... no other team blatantly manipulated the rankings via walkovers than china. the rule was voted in by all member associations.

however, the rule wouldn't be nec'y if badminton wasn't run as a quasi team sport. a stupid system will always require stupid rules to mask the stupidity of the system. what more can you expect from bwf, the stupidest governing body of the int'l sporting world.
"within the halls of bwf it is known as 'the china rule'" - how do you know, you're one of them?

"no other team blatantly manipulated the rankings via walkovers than china" - so other teams did it but not blatantly, and that's fine.

Btw, the example baddielover quoted loudly , the 2004 OG incident, is not about walkover.

Anyway, it's all water under the bridge now.

The ALL-KOR WD Final is well-fought, quality badminton, even for someone who's more into singles. Obviously, fighting for personal glory and prize money.

Come down off your high horse.

Since you've been so kind and quick as to give us such a loud and huge example, which, by the way isn't about walkover, even using such a large format in big fonts that even the blind can see and the aged with poor eyesight can read without their glasses ( so kind of you) - how about being consistent and fair-minded in enlightening us with an example from each of the other countries?

Your righteous indignation will be much appreciated. (I'm sure your well-researched personal archive would come in handy).
Aahh sour grapes. It hurts ??

Frost and Clark just said Nakanishi knew KM would get no points. ;)

Yes but does that mean he won't be participating in world tour finals? What if others do not get enough points and he manage to stay in top 10?

He has 16,800 points if i'm not mistaken after Denmark Open - who from the French Open will get so much points to make 16,800 points go under 10?
