Sorry, you mean what Frost himself commented was different from what he heard the Japanese coach told him?
A medical examination will be required. Footballers (soccer players) often writhe in pain or grimace on the field, then a couple minutes later, they continue the game. I'm not doubting what you 'saw'. Anyway, don't shoot the messenger.
See, that's why you should have a variety of shots, CTC. Way too one-dimensional style of play. Kudos, Kanta-san. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
Sorry, did not mean to shoot anyone Momota was in trouble recovering after a smash for instance, and while not an aggressive player he was attacking below his standards IMO/
Watching this match makes me think of how Li Shifeng beat Kanta Tsuneyama in the Thomas Cup. I wonder if LSF could give CTC a run for his money. Hard to say, maybe not, CTC is too experienced for the young gun.
@terrynguyen121988 it's Stuneyama 2.0 ? I remember you gave him this name when he won against LD 2-3 years back hehe.
Exactly, both the players are grinders. Both of them lacks deceptive shots. When Tsuneyama was standing long to defend, why not CTC play reverse slice straight drop instead he opted for straight smash. But Tsuneyama outfoxed CTC today.
He always come close . He need to add deceptive shots to his game to win titles. He comes so close sometimes , I feel sorry for him. Good that Tsuneyama wins it. Deserve it. He is so happy.
CTC is a veritable workhorse for years he's been playing three tournaments a month like nobody's business. I think it's time he makes some adjustment to his schedule, he's no spring chicken at 31 now.
No, dear. I mean that Frost informed us all at the beginning of the Tsuneyama-Chou match that he spoke to Nakanishi, and that Nakanishi informed Frost that, "Yes, he [Momota] is injured, but it's not so bad". This was at 7-6 in G1. I would be interested in learning where you heard Morten Frost say "that he talked to the Japanese coach who told him Momota wasn't injured".
Morten Frost mentioned that Sayaka Sato has suffered ACL injury in the past. Is it true or is he confusing her with Sayaka Sato?
Sour grapes, what for? It's for you to enlighten us by presenting a more representative list based on objectivity, impartiality and disinterestedness as befitting a good historian. Unless you believe objective history is impossible. But badminton history is not that complicated as the history of a nation or civilization. I'll be waiting excitedly if you'd deign to benefit us mere mortals. Why let your valuable research go to waste. By the way, you conflated Momota's retirement in G2 with Zhou Mi's case which is not, what's your drift? Care to give us your take on the Momota - Kanta match? Gentleman, what do you think transpired there?
