Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC on 02-Mar-2014 (A Short Report) . Here is a short report for our Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC on 09-Mar-2014, our 9th CATS this year. We thank trainees for removing themselves from our 'Booking List' when unable to attend; therefore opening up vacancies for new trainees wishing to join us. Reminder : If you are unable to attend, kindly remove your name ASAP so that others can replace you, otherwise you will be fined. Why? And MSAC charges the court fees if we cancel our courts within 24 hours before our session starts. We welcomed back Raymond-S. He has been away for years. Trainees are now to begin ALL warm-up drills with these 2 strokes :- (1) "Low Service" (2) "Net Return" and then, continue with the other strokes of our set drills. Why? Because we need to train more on these first 2 strokes in a rally. For this CATS, we worked on : Chapter 1 & 2 - (Footwork) Our CCC CATS conducts a program which takes around half-a-year to complete. This is to cover all topics as mentioned in Post #1, namely; CCC Coaching Program (20 Chapters) 1 Footwork – Backward (with OH Clear) 2 Footwork – Forward (with Bounce) 3 Services – Singles & Doubles (with UA Clear) 4 OH Dropshot – (reply with Bounce) 5 Smash – (reply with Block) 6 OH Clear – (Defensive Clear) 7 Dab – (for Doubles) 8 Drive – (for Doubles) 9 Pushshot – (for Doubles) 10 Netplay – (Bounce/Tumble/Spin) 11 Netplay – (Tap/Swipe) 12 Attacking Clear – (with 3-steps Footwork) 13 Holding the Shot – (with Deceptions) 14 Level Doubles – (Players' Positions) 15 Level Doubles – (Court Zones) 16 Level Doubles – (Match Tactics) 17 Mixed Doubles – (Players' Positions & Court Zones) 18 Mixed Doubles – (Match Tactics) 19 Singles – (Court Zones & Match Tactics) 20 OH Backhand Dropshot & Clear Our 2014 Autumn Season membership (for Mar, Apr, May) has started.
