I see. IMO, yonex should had name it as the 20's series like cab 25II, cab26, 27,28, etc. By naming it cab35, people would think it's a continuation of the cab30 series I have fond memory of the cab20 Long, the shaft is stiff and it played really well. Sorry off topic again, reminiscing the good old days....
at first, i really thought cab 35 is really the make over for cab 20 or at least cab 21, the more i play it, the less i think it felt like good ol' cab 20. that being said, although i've converted to arc zs from ns9900. cab 20 is still tops for me in the ovals' line.
Oldschool Head Shape Does anyone find it odd that Yonex chose not to use isometric head shape for this racket? For those who have tried this racket, is that not quite a major set-back? I have been using MP100s all my life... The only thing stopping me from switching to Cab 35 is the lack of isometric head shape. Input please! -Thanks
You will also find the racquet is shorter than your MP100. This racquet is designed for the old timer like me who want new tech in the old cab design.
Carbonex... My first racket was actually a Carbonex ED. I've been playing for about 6 years... I remember really liking that Carbonex... it was the sht back then. Considering getting this racket because it would make me jump higher, hit cleaner and improve my footwork to compensate for loss of 10mm haha.
I second that! It's a craving. I switched to "long" a long time ago and thought there was no turning back. I was wrong. I don't care if it's long or not. It's the oval head I want. And I also prefer box shape frame. I do own oval head rackets with aero shape frame and unfortunately it's not as fullfilling. I dont't understand why though.
The only thing stopping me from switching to something else is the lack of oval head shape Damn I picked up another Cab-20 from the store last week, still no Cab-35 for me
Carbonex will never die! ( i hope ) It carry the great feel of oval shape. A true classic, the hallmark. As of 2010, the latest is Cab-35. Created by attaching arcsaber technology into a classic shape, oval head, even a short traditional shaft. A powerful blend of the modern and the classic
Just got two cab 35 from badmintonshoponline.us and they are misspelled. Still "blance" on the shaft.
More feedback/reviews on the Carbonex 35 please... What is it's max tension? Also, some more comparisons between the 30 and 35 would be appreciated...
