Thats nasty if he calls them hobbit. Just because you are tall doesnt make them less small. Many people in the world are shorter than them.

Obviously it is. Well, lets just combine all the titles to see who is the best. Thats the fairest method.

Surely, HBJ is very talented. Intanon was not able to beat her yet. Something with the chinese players that's blocking Intanon's mind (will discuss in another thread.)

I'm not asking HBJ to emulate LD. My point is, it seems, growing up, LD is her idol, so much so that her style of play is very much akin to Lin Dan. For a female player to mimic Lin Dan's game is just, IMO, so wrong. Females are limited in their speed, agility, stamina and what have you. Hopefully, HBJ would have the courage and the will to drastically change her style of game. She already have the skills and she is extra talented. All she has to do is to acknowledge that she is a girl, and being a girl comes all the limitations I just mentioned.

Make WorldChampionship every 4 years, imo. even then its not biggee than AG or OG. AG and OG is more than badminton so obviously its bigger.

How can 1 title decide you are better than others, nonsense.

Lol what class are you talking about? They are playing badminton at a world class level with nation pride and lots of money on the line, everything is fair.. If you can gain advantage from mentally destroying your enemy so be it, their last match is a fine example, li liu lost even before the match began

XD CHN vs CHN is much more interesting than MD today. Anti climax at it best.. after this if Minions vs Li/Liu just put them at 2nd match or 1st is much better... :p

As a neutral, I was expecting better drama and intense like AG Final...but it was a big big turn off!

I think they already lost even when Kevin ignored Junhui's offer to shake hand before the match began. Junhui was still standing in front of Kevin when he prefered to shake hand with Yuchen and the umpire although Junhui was the first one to approach him. Kevin eventually welcomed Junhui's handshake only after that .

But yeah, I was disappointed with Li/Liu today. I expected a star war. It seemed that they're not the same Li/Liu who defeated Fajar/Rian. I don't think one of them was injured. It's just their tactic change didn't suit them and that made them nervous. Indonesian tv comentator said that Li/Liu might decide to change their play style because their fast-attack plays have always failed to defeat Kevin/Marcus. But the thing is their defense and counter attack today were ridiculous. They also might plan to make Kevin/Marcus tired from smashing the bird multiple times in each rally, but it didn't work out. If only Li/Liu could force a rubber game.

Oh please give it a break..Kevin was literally standing closer by the umpire. So, Kevin shaked the umpire's hand first and then his opponent's afterwards. Its normal like that. You guys really like OVER dramatize every situation.:D

If Tai cant beat Marin in quarter final of China Open next week, i dont think the Asiad without Marin is prestigious than World Championship

That is true for WS&MS imo but not MD WD or XD so it depends on the sector at that time. WC every year is such a turnoff.

Just finished watching the MD match replay.. What could I say, a shocking performance by the Chinese especially Li Junhui. Is he injured or ill? They tried to do Boe/Mo in G1 but failed miserably. Their attacks didn't seem to be able to finish almost any rally. They only played 2 games yesterday so they couldn't be tired but they seemed to have no energy left to try anythingo_Oo_O And to think that this is a final.

On the other hand, Minions played way much better than I expected they would in this hall, so impressed with Kevin and Marcus especially. Never seen them attacking this much in a slow hall. So happy that they could win a tournament this convincingly in the final after their struggles lately. :)
