You forgot (intentionally ?) to mention the two TPE MD pairs in Group B. And what do you think BWF 'fixed' tournament schedule for the two players/pairs of the same nationality in the opening round for ? If one player/pair decides to throw the match to his fellow teammates, they risk not qualifying from the group stage by diminishing their chances thereby.
According to the line of bookmakers, they are confident that there will be 3 games in the matches between the Chinese pairs.
It was all conspiracy theory anyway about the match fixing ... I don't know what to believe but I am putting it out there. If you see the MD schedule. Li/liu vs han/Zhou is the last group match. It may come to a point where that match matters. For example, 1st place is settled with 3 wins (for this exercise we assume li/liu) 2nd and 3rd has the same number of wins but will be decided by the number of points/sets. If Han Zhou need to play rubber games to qualify . What's stopping lu liu from playing it to rubber and eventually winning, letting 2 Chinese pair qualify?
Of course 100% it will go to rubber. HanZhou is the weakest in the group, if Li/Liu cant even win this, they are as good as gone. Having 3 games will give the best chance for both to progress but it has to be Li/Liu that win that the match imo. By the third match, i think Li/Liu power will be gone.
Are the live streams from Badminton world tv geo blocked? I can't see them on the chanel They are Both courts will be covered by BWF though
Hmm.. my most looked forward match of today : Ginting vs Chou Tienchen Go Ginting! Looks like they are using slow shuttles for this tournament. Ginting could be in trouble here.
WS matches are already interesting since the first day. We have AY vs PVS and CYF vs RI. The H2H matches don't favor AY and RI. AY lost to PVS in the last three meetings. RI only won once against RI from all of eight meetings. Whoever win those matches will have upper hand as those matches are so important.
I apologize for my mistake. I opened tournament software and saw their Match was listed at the bottom and I assume it is the last match.
why the red court ...My eyes are beggin to turn the screen off. Red is such a sharp colour to those with specs and eyes problems. BAD CHOICE by BWF..they could have chosen BLUE instead
Commentator kept saying the condition is cold. I wonder if Indonesian has hard time adjusting to weather..considering they always train in warmer weather all year round as compared to the japanese who are used to it
