I am thinking of buying new shoes, probably Victor as Yonex shoes are terrible for their durability. For anyone here using Victor shoes series A or P, how good are they (grip, comfort, and durability)?

Well so far I get about 2-3 years out of a pair with regular use and rotation with a few other pairs. But with heavy use of about 21 hours a week in the past. A pair of SH 8500 lasted just over a year for me. Insole maintenence was pricy for me though. I haven't had a victor shoe that gripped badly for sure. But they of course aren't the very best I've tried generally speaking, at least above average easily. Except the 9200. Those things are like glue to a court lol. But if the court floor is **** and not maintained regularly, even the best grip won't do anything for you.

P9300 is out, you might want to consider that.

So you have good experience with P9200? I am considering between P9200 and A920, but after your remarks now I am more interested with P9200.

@eiji: I know P9300 is coming soon, but I don't really need the "latest". So actually either P9200 or P9100 is fine for me. I saw you just bought new Yonex shoes. How is their durability?

Both are excellent shoes. But if you really want grip then the 9200 is the way to go. No point going for the 9100. 9200 I find is a better shoe except in aesthetics. I really love my red 9100 just because it looks good.

Shoe is only a month odd old, durability isn't a concern for me...haha i rather they wear out faster so i can get new shoes.

P9300 is out, available around asia.

But P9300. The very ugly younger sibling. Face only a mother could love.

Never worn Victor shoes, my next pair will probably be back to Mizunos.

In the case of the 9300. I beg to differ.

I agree. I find 9300 is ugly, it feels like they are trying to be futuristic :p

Just bought it from local shop, will try it tomorrow morning session and I will write some short review here

So after using it for my morning session, I am amazed how good they "wrap" my feet. I am using size 43. The length is just perfect but the upper part feels a bit too tight for me. So after 30 minutes or so, my feet feel hurt a little. I took some break, and after that my feet feel better. Compared to my previous shoes (that i used for 6 years), P9200 feels lighter, provides much-much better grip on the court (something I expect from new shoes vs 6 y.o. shoes), and I feel they "hug" my ankle better, which I like. I do hope they will get stretched a little bit through time to fit my feet better. Can't really comment on the durability as I just use it for 3 hours, but they look sturdy enough. Other than the fit issue I have on the upper part of the shoes, I am really impressed and loving them. Special Thanks to Chiko for his recommendation.

Does 9200 have the same fit as 9100..?
I have used 8500 in 42 which were the correct size for me , but 9100 in 42 were a bit loose. So wondering if I should order 41.5 or 42 in 9200

I'm looking into getting a pair of SH-P9300 as well, but torn on the colours. Which colour do you have? Any way you can post some pictures? :)

Hi, I'm thinking of ordering the 9200M online. I'm usually size 44,5 (UK 10). I tried the comfort Z in this size and it fit perfectly. Would Victor sizes be similar or would I have to go up one size?

    Thanks!

V and YY sizes are pretty on par. Your only concern should be the cutting really. But it shouldn't be NA issue.
