    Be fair lar. Bao Chunlai and Chen Yu also got unfair calls from the judges in Indonesia Open 2006 but they kept continuing the game. Can your mind be wide open?

    I think every umpire in each country will be on that country side, so the players must have tough mental to face this. Taufik is just so arrogant, childish and afraid to lose.

    I agree with you. We have to remember that even umpires and linesmen are also human, they can make mistake(s). Nobody's perfect.

    And so does everybody else (it happens in Korea, China, Indonesia and Malaysia). The most important thing is how u handle this situation, maybe you are a great player, but if you don't have an attitude, it is nil.

    Taufik really did a weird thing this time. Even if it was a mis-call, it was only the first one. Taufik has been treated much more unfairly before, like in Puhang Asiang Games, and then he did not leave after the very first bad call.

    So I guess:

    Taufik felt that he is not on top form yet, while Lin Dan is in good form. So he chose to not let Lin Dan getting familiar with his play style. (Taufik is like Tian1Shan1Tong2Lao3 and Lin Dan is like Li3Qiu1Shui3, when both in top form, Taufik will win, but on average Lin Dan has slight advantage. )

    If this is true, it seems Taufik still cares much about the WC.

    Well said. But I believe, so far, Taufik is not the only great player who doesn't have good attitude. I'm not surprised Taufik did this. Just pity the audience who anticipates this match. Including me, myself. :crying:
