From BWF News: "The knockout draw for the semifinals will take place on Friday evening at the conclusion of the final group matches."

    So there's still possibility :)

We go too far for this.

"many Vietnamese hate China" ==> I don't deny this, but this is sport, I don't want to bring hate to our sport. This make both side become worse.

I reacted by Justin L's react and others's react. I want to see what he would say if this was the case in which Chen and Yamaguchi changed thier position.

:D By the way I don't like mainland people but I know there are good and bad people and I have Cantonese genes
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Maybe the word "karma" make the situation become serious, I am not good English to choose the word properly to say.

As I said, I want to see the changing situation and wait for what Justin L say. I used the word "karma" without really understanding it.

GMT can be a dark horse @ 2024Paris. I hope she can get a medal.

It will be up to her when all these players ageing.

There seems to be an advantage to the person standing in the far corner

Its simple to crunch Guchi just make her move side to side and back of the court with a mix of dead fast smashes and she will choke...But the thing is not many players have this deadly combination of agility and Ballistic smashes.

Must Remember -: No Dumb errors on the net or side/back lines also one has to have the stamina of Pusarla or Okuhara to keep going on and on and on to tire her out.

Sadly in GMT's case she has great shot quality and is applying the right technique but her dumb errors and inability to withstand pressure is costing her the match against AY.GMT has an overall body language of giving up already.

The Trio of (GMT,SK and JoJo) never disappoints just the moment their fans think they got the victory they somehow find a way to irk their fans by losing it.

In the beginning, I just think that this group is a death group by Yamaguchi, Chen Yu Fei, An Se Young.

But actually, the group includes Tunjung also.

at the first match, I thought: uhm, maybe Chen get sick
at the second match: maybe, An Se Young didn't have enough 24 hours to rest
now: maybe, I was wrong :D:D:D

What a fight by GMT i think she got cramps now.

i think first 2 games she can go toe to toe with these top players. Its how to maintain stamina for 3rd game in the future.

GMT can be the Yulianti of 2024 but it will take some deep digging if she has to stand at the biggest podium of 24 and thr barage of players she will have to come over is not easy.

I have my prediction list of '24 Medalist -: CYF,HBJ,AY,ASY,WZY

Reason -: Age is on their side also they will be a better and much improved players by 24.If no injuries then the 3 gloriois medals should be between them.

Dark horses -: Nozomi,Ratchanok,Pusarla,Carol and TTY.

Reason -: These Girls have started what is the golden era of WS badminton and it would be utterly stupid for anyone who knows badminton even a bit to count out these future legends it includes some of the Fastest,Deadliest,Most deceptive players on the planet and most of them are former multiple Oly/WC Medalist and I wont be surprised to see one of them at Paris Podium.

Many girls will be 29/30 @ Paris. LiXueRui is cooked @27. So i think injuries will be concern.

we have seen recent injuries to Nozomi and Sindhu.

Right thats why I include Nozomi,Sindhu,Carol,Tai and Ratchanok in my darkhorse list cause If the expected younger girls may have injuries and any of these girls are fit during that time they could upset them and make chances to win their second or third oly medal.

But yeah its age they dont have on their side and with Tai also been read well by many upcoming players Im not too confident of her winning her first major tittle.

Though Im content for Nozomi,Sindhu,Carol and Tai given all of them have achieved a glorious career with some greatest achievements and recorrds in their own way theres one player I really wish to see at paris i.e Ratchanok.

Ratchanok may not be my fav but honestly Golden batch is incomplete without her and I have a special place for all 5 of them and we all saw how broken she was in Tokyo after losing to Tai and that was one match where both of them wanted it bad...I really wanna see ratchanok winning the Oly medal cause not only its her dream but it was her mother's dream too..deep down I know it may not be possible but thats my one wish to see Rstchanok with an Oly medal she truly deserves one.
