Yes "Mohammad Ali" said that........ and it's true i don't know about life but in sport we have to work extremely hard to become a champion and to remain on top.
Listen to their talks to stir our curiosity . Nowadays, with the many internet communication available, I have found this great site: http://www.ted.com/talks/browse Listen to their talks to stir our curiosity. .
"He that would live in peace and at ease must not speak all he knows nor judge all he sees." - Benjamin Franklin ?advice for some coaches? but surely not for chris-ccc.
A great quotation by Benjamin Franklin . It's a great quotation by Benjamin Franklin. A very wise man, he was. The "not speak all he knows"; I suppose he was saying "only answer to what is required from question asked"; Any extra info is unnecessary. The "not judge all he sees"; I suppose he was saying "who am I to judge others opinion(s)?"; Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion(s). .
Hmmm.... I don't know. I can 'imagine' quite a bit (to paraphrase that other great philosopher and nature lover, Han Solo). Only an ascetic can afford to live the life they imagine. ("A treehouse and cold gruel? What bliss!") The rest of us greedy sods probably have dream-lives that would take more $$ than we are ever likely to earn, borrow or steal.
^ .... or you can live the life you never imagined Here's one from a great philosopher and among other things, musician. Can you name him without having to cheat with google? "The computer can't tell you the emotional story. It can give you the exact mathematical design, but what's missing is the eyebrows."
Can we name the great philosopher? . I don't know the answer (and I'm not going to google for it). See if any of our BCers know the philosopher. What he has said is true; about the missing eyebrows (and other body language). Anyone could post something of seriousness (for example), but deep down inside, he/she is laughing at others (because they are really of lies; it is a plan to trick others). .
When one door closes, another opens . Just today, I heard a nice one: When one door closes, another opens. I google for it, and found it was a quote by the great Alexander Graham Bell. .
