I personally don't think what Korea did was such a big deal (actually seemed kinda fun), I mean they still had to win when it mattered didn't they? They're still going to have to go up against China eventually. But it also really has very very little to do with intelligence... >_>. That's just silly. Not to mention Malaysia did very well (and could have done better, but not I think by avoiding China in the semifinals - by fielding a proper doubles line-up hah).

Ever heard of "the end justifies the means"?
If Korea is to win the Thomas cup this year... they will only be remember as the Thomas cup winner in 2008 in the future, and nobody will remember how they got there... in the meantime, Malaysia will be remember as "Thanks for the memory again in 2008" in the future.

If athletes are satisfied with a semi-final appearance, then there is no hope for them to ever win anything. a closer score that indicates "you lose" really doesn't make any difference.. it still means "you lose".

Not assumption, it's prediction based on head-to-head, etc

Ppl were also of the opinion Fuzzy pair could not take the pressure i.e. win against Guo/Xie. Yap KH indicated they need more experience as a pair implying he not confident with Fuzzy, so I was surprised they end up fielding Fuzzy pair. History showed they fail badly when under pressure but today dunno what fire got into them, they took the 2nd pt.

CTF/LWW have a 6-3 head to head against Fu/Cai. KKK/TBH is 2-2. CTF/KKK would have been stratch pair to surprise the opponent, they were very confident against Japan, Msia was under pressure then as higher seed country. Against China, they were under less pressure - Msia target for TC team was Semi FInal.
I think BAM did that to put less pressure on the team - as seen even here in TC the players perform better when less pressure or underdog (MD switching partner, up against favourites China).

% of winning uncles against Fu/Cai or uncle/youngie against Fu/Cai is higher, not 100%, but at least 60%.
    KKK/TBH vs Fu/Cai was 50%

Is Li Mao tagging along with Team Korea in this trip? If he is then Lin Dan will be very nervous to see Li Mao sitting so close to the court side. Li Mao should bring along a toy helmet to crack the ice :D

It is still an assumption no matter how you put it, because it just DIDN'T HAPPEN, and you have no facts to support your opinion... so it is still an ASSUMPTION.

You assume/predict that it will happen the way you think it will happen, but it will never happen, because the matches are all over already. The fact remains that China won 3-2

They are not playing their best but still are the world class top notch MD. You win some and you lose some, is part of the game. Korean look unbeatable now just like KKK/TBH a year ago but does it matter? When Olympic comes, that's what it really counts. Sabah, if they don't win Olympic then we will "goreng" them!

How serious is Chen Jin's injury? He doesn't need to play tomorrow. Will there be any chance that 1 rest day will give him the time to recover (providing the injury isn't too serious)?

i was so sad when i heard INA team lose. but this is a game , we have to accept the result. and as an Indonesian, i will always support our player, even if they lose. this is not the end of the world.

for all INA fans, don't be so sad, we still have our INA uber team to support, cheer up and support them..
