    ^^Well..^^

..who really wants to quarrel with him...................:p [IMG] ;)

Let alone, ahem, Oldhand, with his uber quick trigger finger on the "BAN" button...[IMG]:(

Haha... (to paraphrase Twain) the reports of my bans are grossly exaggerated :p

Comparisons between the PBSI and this forum are misplaced.
    (Read: commercial vs non-profit.)

    Hollywood offers a better parallel.

A player has no more than a few years of peak commercial value.
As soon as his star fades, his earning-power dips dramatically.

The fist that Kido banged on the PBSI's table holds an Olympic gold.
That commands enormous value... but only until London 2012 at best.
If he doesn't snare the best deal possible when he can command it, he isn't going to see it... especially not later.

After all, this is a man who knows when to make a kill, er, killing :D

    ^^Markis is..^^

..definitely trying to get the best possible deal, if he thought PBSI could blink........but using his siblings, as his excuse for quitting, as well (what have they got to do with him winning the WC & Olympics titles)???... :(

If he were to do it & negotiate, for his own well being & be frank about it w/PBSI, that's fine...Although that would also bring in contention of his value's worth in comparison to Hendra.

Again, its her choice. I thought she will have better future in doubles too, considering she had good records with Bona before. As for singles, her posture will limit her potential.

Just wonder whether it is close to the incentive package that BAM offered recently?

As Hau-Ge stated earlier, let's assume it to be US$60k, around Rp 700m per year. It's a huge sum I would say

I guess more than enough....!!! This is excluding other bonuses and prizes, everything such as taking part in SS taken care of.

Practice - maintain health - eat nutritious food - participate in SS - receive bonuses if winning, fame, honor to represent the country

Considering the many Indonesians losing jobs, having no job, I guess the amount is much more than ennough!

I guess humans will never be satisfied when it comes to money matters...

Is MK's decision to leave PBSI influenced by TH's decision?

    .
I wonder if MK's decision to leave PBSI is influenced by TH's decision. Are they close friends? Maybe MK has private sponsorships as well?.

sponsoring kido is like buying viagra, the sponsor has to have faith that kido will score:rolleyes: It's unlike TH's case, sponsor(s) believed TH can score by himself:p lol

Not appropriate for me because it only showed kido, where is Hendra? MD is a team effort.
Since kido is going pro now, pbsi should just sell the wallpaper to kido, to get some money back.
