Yes. Because of the following two reasons: - they don't know much about stringing and most of them don't even notice - he strings (a lot, in my opinion) lower than requested, so the stringlife increases Before I started stringing myself, I gave him my racket for restringing. After he returned it with a tension much lower than I requested and didn't even bother to straighten the strings I started to search for alternatives.
If I saw anyone with a racket strung like that I'd be quite quick to inform them they ought to find another stringer
Haha I've seen this before also, they're cheating because they don't want to cover the holes which make the crosses a pain in the arse, especially at higher tensions.
I removed the strings on this beauty today.... Took a couple of seconds to notice - at first I thought the racket was just warped! Hmmm by FeatherBlaster posted Oct 4, 2016 at 12:12 AM
That is almost painful just to look at! I would have expected that there is no chance that a frame can survive torture like that.
It's even a light racket. (77g) It didn't seem to have been strung very hard (for beginners I think), and with BG-65.
I actually had a warped racket to restring, one side of the racket was flattened - god knows how. When I look at my stringing I stressed out thinking I'd made the mistake in that picture, started counting along the grommets. Luckily I hadn't made that mistake, I don't know how they did that to the racket though.
How is that even possible? That's disgusting. Even if I made a brainfart move like that I'd notice it immediately after finishing and would never hand that to a customer. I'd cut the strings off and redo it and not even mention it lol.
The following clip just cannot miss in here. You want to see stringing horror at its finest? Here you go: Thanks @ucanstseeme for sharing this little youtube treasure.
This video let me fourfold facepalm if I'm Kintaro. I can't see any benefits of this method. I tried to find them, but can't found them. I do my mains in 10 minutes (weaving and tensioning) so I don't see any benefit in right to left etc.
For the life of me, I don't understand why people preweave. Waste of time imo. Takes me no more than 20 minutes to string a racket from start-finish. Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
