I'd say the second of the back-to-back tournaments is harder to predict, some other elements come into play, recovering from fatigue, esp for older players is one of them.

Watching MD match now. Zhang nan/Liu Cheng vs Mathias /david.

I must say that David is technically sound than Mathias.

He's basically making an excuse for why he lost in that fashion. Too obvious. The only "injury" he sustained during Denmark Open was a mental one :rolleyes:

You sound like a fanboy yourself. Of course he withdrew because of injury. To believe he skips the French Open just because he lost last week is just delusional.

And by yesterday I was counting SWH along with CtC and KS as the fittest blokes on circuit. Lmao, it was hell of a match against LHIl and he is naturally exhausted but bundling up against a "going downhill HKV" in straight sets with his style of play ummmm disappointing.
Nothing to hold back against HKV though, let's see if he can do another "Australia open run"

Chen Long, will he be able to play like used to circa 2014-2015?
Or will he continue to play inconsistently like he has for the past two year?
Interesting situation.

Ah, I remember this bad camera angle.
When will it improve?
I can barely watch last year due to the shuttle being too hard to see.

Zhang Nan has improved his front court skill so much, it is a big difference from 2016 version. Now if only he can do something about his average smash..

ya Busanan can beat the crap out of YPY this tourney but i still hate seeing her play. the way she moves on the court puts me off dunno why
