I'd say the second of the back-to-back tournaments is harder to predict, some other elements come into play, recovering from fatigue, esp for older players is one of them.

Son Wan Ho should just retire from the game and go farm potatoes. What a waste.

What happened to Sato at the end there?
Didn't expect her to fold like that... was there some kind of issue?

Watching MD match now. Zhang nan/Liu Cheng vs Mathias /david.

I must say that David is technically sound than Mathias.

You sound like a fanboy yourself. Of course he withdrew because of injury. To believe he skips the French Open just because he lost last week is just delusional.

And by yesterday I was counting SWH along with CtC and KS as the fittest blokes on circuit. Lmao, it was hell of a match against LHIl and he is naturally exhausted but bundling up against a "going downhill HKV" in straight sets with his style of play ummmm disappointing.
Nothing to hold back against HKV though, let's see if he can do another "Australia open run"

Hope to see Inanton on the podium again but I doubt it, her stamina is going to be a problem.

    Too personal.
He is getting consistent money while playing badminton. That is good enough.

Chen Long, will he be able to play like used to circa 2014-2015?
Or will he continue to play inconsistently like he has for the past two year?
    Interesting situation.

Busanan O. overwhelming Yip Pui Yin.
She always can beat anyone but the top 10 players.

Ah, I remember this bad camera angle.
    When will it improve?
I can barely watch last year due to the shuttle being too hard to see.

Zhang Nan has improved his front court skill so much, it is a big difference from 2016 version. Now if only he can do something about his average smash..

On the other hand, I like her style. Not elegant and efficient but tricky and heavy hitter types.
